Note To Examiner

My brief was to create a promotional package for the release of an album which should include a music promo video with two of the three following options:

- A website homepage for the artist
- A digipak for the album's release
- A magazine advertisement for the sigipak

I created a music promo for the song 'Sober' by Selena Gomez from the Synth-Pop Genre and the two supporting ancillaries; a digipak and magazine advertisement.

Here is the final production of our music video.

Magazine Advertisement - Edits

First Edit 

               

The photo on the right is an unedited photograph we shot and on the left-hand side is our first official draft. As you can see we decided to use the same font we used in the album digipak. 

Second Edit

After receiving feedback,, we made many changes. As you can see we changed the font colour to make it stand out more, lowered 'SELENA GOMEZ' to match  the lines of the bricks in the background and we added line in between both the title name and artist name to separate them from each other. Here is our second and final edit on the right side.

Risk Assessment

In preparation for filming, it was very important that we think of risks that could occur in order to be prepared and minimise any disruption that could be caused from the risks.

Album Digipak - Second Edit

From our album digipak feedback we made some changes and were happy with our changed product.

Front Panel

Inside Panel One

We noticed that the first edit was not the right aspect ratio, so we changed it to the right one, 1:1 , square. The main changes we made for this panel; we changed font style and position, and minor change was a contrast change so the photo didn't look "washed" out.

Inside Panel Two

We received positive feedback from our second inside panel and we do not have anything we would want to change from it so it is the same.

End Panel

The end panel undertook the most changes; we changed the font type and size and also decided to replace the background with a jet black as it makes the crown and font stand out more and it gives the panel a clean finish.
